FlexPoint does not natively create or manage late fees. Instead, late fees are controlled directly within your connected accounting platform (such as QuickBooks or Xero).

If a late fee exists on an invoice in your accounting tool, it will be reflected in FlexPoint.

How Late Fees Appear in FlexPoint

Late fees typically appear as a separate line item on the invoice, depending on how they are configured in your accounting system. If you scroll to the bottom of any invoice in FlexPoint, you will see a full breakdown of all invoice items, including any late fees that have been applied.

Invoice Totals

If configured as a fee or finance charge, the late fee may also be reflected in the total invoice amount.

Placement

The placement (top, bottom, or grouped with other charges) depends entirely on how your accounting platform structures the invoice.

Sync Behavior

Once a late fee is added in your accounting system, it will sync into FlexPoint automatically during the next invoice sync.
