How to Add a Payment Method Nickname in FlexPoint
Easily identify your bank accounts and payment methods
Payment method nicknames help you quickly recognize and manage your bank accounts and payment methods in FlexPoint. You can add a nickname when creating a new payment method or update an existing one at any time.
Add a Nickname When Adding a New Bank Account
When adding a new bank account in FlexPoint, you’ll have the option to assign a nickname during setup.
- Enter a name that helps you recognize the account
- The nickname will be saved automatically

Add or Edit a Nickname for an Existing Payment Method
You can also add or update a nickname for any payment method that’s already in FlexPoint.
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Navigate to Customers and select Payment Methods |
| 2 | Locate the payment method you want to update. |
| 3 | Select the three dots next to the payment method. |
| 4 | Select Edit Nickname. |
| 5 | Edit or enter the nickname, then click Save. |
The nickname will update immediately and help you identify the payment method throughout FlexPoint.
