Is there a recommended minimum number of payment methods for migration? ▶
While there is no strict minimum, we generally recommend migrating only if you have more than 25 payment methods. If you have fewer, it may be faster and easier to have clients re-enter their payment details directly in FlexPoint.
Will AutoPay settings and rules carry over? ▶
No. Only the payment methods are migrated. AutoPay rules and authorizations will need to be reconfigured in FlexPoint.
Why does a migration take ~1 calendar month? ▶
Migrations involve secure export, encryption, file transfers, and validation steps. These security and compliance checks typically require about one month to complete.
Does a payment migration include both ACH and credit card methods? ▶
Yes — both ACH and credit card payment methods can be migrated.
Can you guarantee all payment methods will migrate? ▶
We cannot guarantee 100% success for all payment methods. Common reasons include:
- The payment method has expired.
- FlexPoint did not receive the necessary data from the existing processor.
