Guide to create API Members and integrate with ConnectWise Manage

FlexPoint integrates with ConnectWise Manage via the REST API and API Members configured in your system. You must have administrative privileges in ConnectWise Manage to perform this setup.

Step-by-Step Setup 🛠️

Step 1: Create a New API Member ▶

• Navigate to ConnectWise
• Under "System" locate "Members"
• Select "API Members"
• Click the "+" to add a new API member

Step 2: Fill in the Details ▶

• Member ID: FlexPoint
• Member Name: FlexPoint
• Role ID: Admin
• Click "Save"

Step 3: Generate API Keys ▶

• Select "API Keys"
• Click the "+" sign to add a new API key
• Description: populate "FlexPoint"
• Click "Save" to generate the keys

Step 4: Add API Keys in FlexPoint ▶

• Navigate to FlexPoint
• Select "Settings" → "Integrations"
• Under ConnectWise, click "Connect"
• Populate the Company ID (from ConnectWise login screen)
• Populate the Public Key (from ConnectWise)
• Populate the Private Key (from ConnectWise)
• Click "Connect"
