Basic Dual Integration vs. GL Connect
Understand the key differences to choose the right integration for your workflow
FlexPoint offers two integration options with ConnectWise: Basic Dual Integration and GL Connect. While both allow you to work with invoice data, they differ significantly in automation, syncing capabilities, and overall workflow efficiency.
Basic Dual Integration
The Basic Dual Integration allows you to:
- Import invoice data from ConnectWise
- Use the ConnectWise invoice PDF
- Apply additional criteria for AutoPay
However, FlexPoint does not sync data from ConnectWise to your accounting system in this setup.
GL Connect
GL Connect provides a fully automated syncing experience by enabling FlexPoint to:
- Import both historical and new invoices
- Include detailed line item data
- Sync invoices directly to QuickBooks Online
- Post payment statuses back to ConnectWise
This streamlined workflow eliminates the need for a separate syncing tool, allowing everything to flow directly through FlexPoint.
