Autotask Integration

FlexPoint integrates with Autotask via the API.

Step 1: In Autotask ▶

Open Autotask and navigate to Resources (Users) under Admin in the top-left menu:

Find your Autotask user, copy the Resource ID, and save it for later:

Choose "New API User" under New:

Step 2: Configure New API User ▶

Fill out the New API User form. Ensure Security Level is set to "API User (system)". Click "Generate Key" and "Generate Secret" and save the values.

Scroll down and select "FlexPoint - Payments Solution" as the Integration Vendor:

Click Save & Close at the top of the page.

Step 3: In FlexPoint ▶

After integrating FlexPoint with your accounting system, go to Settings > Integrations and choose "Add Autotask":

Enter the saved values:

• Account Manager (ownerResourceID) = Resource ID
• Public Key = Value under Generate Key button
• Private Key = Value under Generate Secret button

Then, click Connect. Your integration is complete!
