How to Authorize a Payment Method for AutoPay
Step-by-step guide to enabling AutoPay for your clients
In order for AutoPay to successfully run, you must first create an AutoPay Rule so we can properly tag invoices to AutoPay.
Next, your clients must add a payment method and also provide authorization for AutoPay by checking the appropriate box.
When your clients have provided authorization, you will see the payment method turn green for AutoPay (head to Customers > Payment Methods for a quick consolidated view).
PLEASE NOTE: If your clients simply add a payment method but do not provide authorization, AutoPay will not run, regardless of whether an invoice is tagged to AutoPay or not.
